Setting up a Smarthost

Configuring a smarthost in Enhance will automatically route all outbound email through JetEmail’s authenticated SMTP servers, improving deliverability and management.

Configuration Steps

  1. Generate a smarthost (or use an existing one) in your JetEmail dashboard.
  2. Open Servers in the left sidebar
  3. Select Manage on your target server
  4. Navigate to the ‘Email’ role
  5. Click Settings
  6. Configure your smarthost settings:
    • Smarthost: relay.jetsmtp.net
    • Port: 25 (or 587)
    • Username: Your JetEmail SMTP username
    • Password: Your JetEmail SMTP password
Note: Inherited global settings will be tagged as ‘Default’. Custom or edited settings will not show this tag.
